Pelorus Announces ‘The 2026 Adventure Agenda’

Path of Shadow: The Solar Eclipse Voyage, Greenland (August 2026)

Sail aboard the luxury yacht AQUA LARES into East Greenland for one of the most spectacular astronomical events of the decade – a total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026. Set against towering ice fjords and remote Inuit communities, this journey combines Arctic mythology, helicopter glacier landings, wildlife encounters with musk oxen and Arctic foxes, and an unforgettable view of the sun’s glowing corona as the Arctic plunges into twilight.

This journey starts from £452,000 (US$610,000) per week to charter AQUA LARES, excluding experiences and services. Pelorus plans bespoke itineraries according to each client’s individual requirements. Price includes private yacht charter, though this will vary depending on the chosen yacht, days, and time of year.

The Tipping Point Expedition: The Galápagos (Year-round, 2026)

Embark on a pioneering yachting adventure through the Galápagos at a critical time for conservation, as the Galapagos Rail and Mares’ leaf-toed gecko – both thought to be extinct for over a century – have been rediscovered and marine conservation efforts are expanded. Guests will participate in landmark research projects, from protecting giant tortoises to monitoring shark populations alongside scientists, helping families engage in fieldwork. Evenings will include Darwin-inspired storytelling, whilst days include snorkelling with sea lions, hiking lava formations, and exploring volcanic reefs teeming with marine life. A tailored explorer kit and legacy pledge ceremony introduces younger guests to the science, ecology and stewardship shaping the future of the islands.

This journey starts from £193,009 (US$259,900) to charter Hermes. Prices shown are for a week’s charter excluding some additional experiences and services. Pelorus plans bespoke itineraries according to each client’s individual requirements.

Five Epic Journeys Redefining the Future of Exploration

September 16, 2025 – Pelorus is delighted to unveil its 2026 Adventure Agenda, including five new journeys that take immersive, experience-led travel to new frontiers. From following Odysseus’ path across the Mediterranean to chasing a solar eclipse in Greenland, this collection combines cultural immersion, pioneering conservation, and the kind of cinematic storytelling that has become synonymous with the Pelorus name.

Each itinerary has been carefully designed in collaboration with world-leading experts, conservationists, filmmakers and local communities, ensuring unrivalled access and a deep connection to each destination.

The Odyssey: Turkey and Italy (July–October 2026)

Trace the legendary journey of Odysseus across the Mediterranean, inspired by Homer’s epic poem and Christopher Nolan’s much-anticipated film adaptation, scheduled for release in July 2026. From the ancient city of Troy to Sicily’s sacred temples and a private yacht voyage through the Aeolian Islands and Amalfi Coast, this journey blends mythology, archaeology, luxury, and film set access for a once- in-a-lifetime adventure.

Traveling by land, sea and air, guests will travel back in time, experiencing each mythological site through the eyes of storytellers, performers and historians, gaining exclusive access to ancient sites, sacred temples and film sets.

This journey starts from £75,000 PP (US$100,000 PP) based on 4 adults traveling for 14 nights. Pelorus plans bespoke itineraries according to each client’s individual requirements. Prices exclude international flights.

A Rewilding Journey: Scotland (April–May, September–October 2026)

Reconnect with nature in the Scottish Highlands through a conservation-led holiday. Families or groups of friends can join ecologists and land stewards to participate in rewilding efforts – from salmon restocking and river restoration to wildlife tracking in 4x4s and stargazing in remote wilderness camps. Using cutting-edge technology, guests will become citizen scientists, imagining Scotland’s wild past and future, before setting off to hike and cycle through forest trails, wild swim in lochs and explore remote corners of the national parks. With a proliferation of new rewilding projects and nature-conscious properties – including a new launch from Wildland – opportunities are rife for travelers to boost their involvement in early-stage, environmental projects in 2026.

This journey starts from £55,000 PP (US$74,000 PP) based on 4 adults traveling for 10 nights and including helicopter transfers. Pelorus plans bespoke itineraries according to each client’s individual requirements. Prices exclude international flights.
